Mental note to myself: Today was a very good day. And you didn't need nicotine to enjoy it (well maybe just one smoke) . Your brain seems to function much faster when you're off cigarettes so please..QUIT ALREADY!

Work on your timing. Editing for movies and editing videos are two different things.

Good dinner with Manong. Great company at Greenbelt and V bar (huh?!?!). A buss on the cheek from a gorgeous former blockmate.

This all nighter doesn't seem that lonely after all.

I was bitten by the film bug again. And the questions again abound as to what the hell am I doing editing wedding videos.

I've been down with a bad throat infection and fever for the past few days and my body finally gave way last night so I was forced to stay home. I guess there is something about a rainy weekend night that draws out our most subliminal of appetites. I was hankering for a good movie. Something at least that I could enjoy and immerse myself in completely.

So I sat myself at the lazy boy with my fat dog beside and put on my copy of "Man on Fire" in the DVD player. It was like two hours of therapy for me. All the baggage I accumulated in the past few months working for Happy Events suddenly dissapeared.

The clincher came this morning when I had to stay home to rest and was left all alone to savor "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" (I know! I should have seen this movie when it first came out! Gondry! Kaufman! How could I miss it?!) I was literally on my feet, clapping, with tears in my eyes as the credits rolled. And that's that.

It has always been the cinema for me. I guess it always will be.

TV does dumb you down, kids.
